The Role
Animal Technicians are responsible for all stages of the chicken lifecycle as well as the buildings in which the birds are kept. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Handling of eggs, incubation, and hatching
- Daily monitoring and care of chicks and birds
- Harvesting birds for vaccine production
- Cleaning, decontamination and maintenance of bird houses and equipment
- Detailed record-keeping
- Ability to uphold a high standard of animal welfare and care
- Capacity to deal with changing priorities and work pressure
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to cope with the physical demands of the role
- Flexibility in work hours (some weekends and public holidays)
- Own transport
- Poultry experience would be an advantage but not a necessity as all training will be provided

We have an exciting opportunity for technicians with drive and an interest to join our Clean Glassware and Production teams.
Responsibilities for clean glassware include:
- Cleaning and decontaminating glassware
- Sterilizing equipment (using autoclaves)

Computer System Validation (CSV) Role (location: Glenorie, NSW)
Due to site / team expansion an opportunity exists for a full time Validation Engineer. Excellent opportunity for validation engineer to write protocols & reports, execute & analyse validation studies.
As a CSV Engineer reporting to the Validation Manager you will:
- Prepare and execute CSV validation protocols and reports
- Maintain the validated state of the computerised systems
- Provide support in computer-based improvements and changes
- Perform risk assessments
To be successful in this role you will need to be results driven, energetic and a practical self-starter with the following attributes:
- Tertiary qualified in either Science, Engineering or equivalent

Great opportunity for pharmaceutical, food & beverage or manufacturing technician to contribute to upstream processing division for vaccine production.
This is a rewarding position with significant projected expansion and includes world leading processes in mycoplasma fermentation. Remuneration includes a share of success programme after eligibility period.
As a Fermentation Technician working in our Fermentation department, you will:
- Operate laboratory equipment including fermentation vessels, bioreactors, filter integrity testing machines, balances, pH meters
- Assemble and operate fermenters, single use bag systems, Tangential Flow Filtration
- Perform aseptic inoculations and passaging of culture
- Complete relevant GMP paperwork
- Work in a GMP sterile/clean room production facility and learn aseptic laboratory skills

IT Support Officer (location: Glenorie, NSW)
We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic IT Support Officer/Engineer with drive and an interest to join our Production team. The scope of the role has a very wide potential, make it your own! Remuneration includes a share of success programme after eligibility period.
- Level 1/2 tech support to users at our Glenorie production site
- Resolve issues and requests relating to desktops/laptops (Win OS 7/10/11), mobile devices (iOS and Android), MS Office/o365, email and other standard software
- Be the hands at our enterprise level physical server environment when required
- Basic support for a wide range of non-standard software and hardware technologies (industrial machinery – PLC and SCADA interfaces)
- Work on software and hardware improvement projects
- Maintenance of the site systems and inventory
- Oversee the already established disaster recovery procedures
- Work with 3rd party IT Administrators
- Administer the local PABX system
- Qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology (or experience equivalent)
