Laboratory and Production Processing Technicians (Location Glenorie, NSW)
Due to continued growth into the global market with existing and new live veterinary vaccine lines, we are significantly expanding our production capacity. We require Laboratory and Production Processing Technicians, responsible for the processing of biological products, packing and/or filling of product, and formulation of solutions (media) to complement our existing sound staff base.
Production Processing TechnicianAs a production technician you will:
- Process biological materials for use in poultry vaccines
- Blend, fill, label, and dispatch product
- Complete relevant GMP paperwork
- Assist in other production areas as required
As a laboratory technician you will:
- Packing and/or filling of product
- Laboratory preparation and cleaning
- Complete GMP paperwork
The following attributes are required:
- Ability, to work in a GMP sterile/clean room production facility, and to learn aseptic laboratory skills
- Previous industry experience (pharmaceutical, food or beverage) a distinct advantage
- Positive attitude and enjoys challenges
- Flexibility in work hours
- High attention to detail
- High motivation and physical work rate
- Capable of working alone or in a small team environment
- Own transport
- No contact with birds or poultry at home
- Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident

Validation Engineer (location Glenorie, NSW)
Due to site / team expansion an opportunity exists for a Validation Engineer to work initially a 12 month contract with view to extension/permanency.
The Role
As a Validation Engineer reporting to the Validation Manager you will:
- Write validation protocols and reports
- Execute validation studies including temperature mapping, sterilisation, equipment IQ/OQ
- Perform risk assessments
- Analyse results
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will need to be results driven, energetic and a practical self- starter with the following attributes:
- Tertiary qualified in either Science, Engineering or equivalent
- Good working knowledge of GMP with knowledge of APVMA, TGA or EU regulations
- Previous experience in validation (Pharmaceutical / Veterinary industry experience)
- Experience with process, equipment and sterilisation validation an advantage
- Experience with sterile liquid products an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team in a rapidly changing work environment
- Ability to drive and co-ordinate validation activities
- Strong computer skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- ‘Can do’ attitude
- Flexibility
- Attention to detail and ability to think logically
- High motivation and initiative
- Current driver’s license and own transport
- Resident of Australia or current working visa for Australia

Senior Maintenance Fitter (location Glenorie, NSW)
This is a varied and rewarding hands-on position reporting directly to the Engineering and Services Manager with the primary purpose/functions to:
- Carry out preventative maintenance on plant and equipment
- Conduct daily routine plant checks
- Perform facility, building and equipment maintenance
- Respond time effectively to breakdowns to both plant and equipment
- Co-ordinate the on-site activities of outside service providers to fit in with production requirements
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Support production in the operation of the various filling lines
- Assist in design qualification, installation qualification, operational & performance qualification of new manufacturing equipment
- Technical hands-on ability to problem-solve services and production equipment issues
- Maintain GMP requirements for the facility
Bioproperties is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive leader to contribute to the management team and require the following attributes:
- Supervisory skills will be an advantage
- Mechanical trade qualified with food, packaging, or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
- WHS awareness, compliance, and contribution to site activities
- Understanding of HACCP and/or GMP procedures within the food/pharmaceutical packaging industries
- Own transport
