Greg is highly experienced with veterinary GMP manufacturing experience since 2001 and extensive experience in animal health industries – poultry, vaccines and fisheries.

Chris Morrow, PhD, BVSc

Senior Technical Advisor

Chris is a qualified veterinarian and is the inventor of MS-H Mycoplasma synoviae vaccine strain MS-H. He has extensive experience with avian pathology and exotic disease research. In 2014, he was appointed Associate Professor with the Faculty of Veterinary Science at the University of Melbourne.

Robin Achari DTA (Hons), BVSc (Qld, Hons), PhD (Epidem), MANZCVS (Poultry Health)

Global Technical Manager

Robin is a qualified poultry veterinarian with over 15 years of extensive field experience in various countries globally. He has held senior operational management positions in the integrated meat-chicken sectors of Fiji and Australia. Previously, he held the position of Chief Veterinary Officer of Fiji before focusing on poultry health, biosecurity, and welfare. His doctoral research focused on the molecular epidemiology of Fowl Adenoviruses. Robin possesses strong skills in facilitating positive change and implementing sound vaccination programs in the field. Robin is the current President of the Commercial Poultry Veterinarians Association, a special interest group in the Australian Veterinary Association.

Philip Todhunter

Philip has over 30 years of extensive experience in the poultry industry. Before emigrating to Australia in 2016, his company in the UK supplied fertile eggs for human vaccine manufacture. He has an in-depth and practical knowledge of the commercial and operational requirements of both the poultry and vaccine industries.

Sarah is a pharmacist and a regulatory professional with over 30 years in the registration of human medicines and medical devices. She is experienced in working with government and the various stakeholders within the global pharmaceutical industry.

Hilda Joubert, BSc (Hons), MSc, PhD

Regulatory Affairs Manager

Hilda is an experienced Microbiologist/Biotechnologist. She completed a PhD in Veterinary Tropical Diseases with Fowl Adenovirus as topic. She is experienced in veterinary vaccine research and development (viral and bacterial), diagnostic assay development and validation, molecular biology and phylogenetics as applied in the veterinary vaccine industry.

Greg is a registered specialist avian veterinarian with more than 20yrs management experience in the Australian poultry and veterinary vaccine industries.

Dan Andrews, BSc (Hons), PhD (Distinction)

Head of Science & Innovation

Dan completed his PhD in viral immunology in 2004 and has undertaken post-doctoral training at the University of Western Australia and the University of Melbourne, prior to running an independent laboratory at Monash University. He has extensive experience with immunology and vaccination.

Julie Brogestam, BSc (Hons)

QA and GMP Compliance Manager

Julie has extensive international experience with a range of biotechnology companies producing human pharmaceuticals. Julie is responsible for QA, QC testing, GMP training, GMP compliance and validation. She has experience in fermentation, R&D, scale up & process development, production, validation, contract manufacturing and operations/project management.

Gamini Jayawardane, PhD, BVSc

Quality Control Manager

Gamini has completed his PhD in Newcastle Disease and has many years experience in viral research laboratories and manufacturing facilities around the world, including Malaysia, Japan and England.

Matthew Heslop, BSc (Hons)

Production Manager

Matthew has many years commercial fermentation experience in the UK and has been with Bioproperties since 2005 where he has progressed with increasing responsibilities to head our bacterial production department.
